Established in 1916, Delphic Elementary School is the pride and joy of the Delphic Elementary School District. We also support the Siskiyou Charter School, which is in the process of opening. Delphic School was created to provide education for students, kindergarten through eighth grade who live between Yreka and Montague. At Delphic, we provide a more personal school experience for students. Our low student teacher ratios allow us to offer a quality education where everyones' needs are met. We have top of the line technology and qualified teachers' aides for most of the instructional day. We have an awesome after school program as well as sports activities, such as Volley Ball, Basket Ball, and Track.
The best parts about Delphic are the students, the teachers, and the administrative staff, and our homemade meals by our very own cook!
Everybody's happy, everybody's learning, everybody's family at Delphic Elementary!
Delphic Elementary School is a small rural school located in Northern California’s lovely Shasta Valley, three miles from Yreka, and nestled amongst many cow pastures. Delphic School was established in 1916 to provide an education for students living between Yreka and Montague. When translated, Delphic means, “The place where God was believed to give answers to Apollo at Delphi.”
The school tries to continue in that role, providing for local students and providing an alternative for students living in neighboring school districts.
The mission of the Delphic Elementary School District is to create a learning environment of excellence-producing individuals with high standards that are inspired to become lifelong learners and contributing members of our society.
A major role of Delphic School is to establish a caring, accepting school environment that helps to build trust, foster the development of positive social skills, and enhance each student’s ability to make wise and healthy decisions.
The Delphic School program meets students’ needs by focusing on common concerns that are not always addressed in the traditional program. This further promotes a positive perception of the classroom and school. Students come to regard school as a place where they are understood—thus, they become more motivated to learn.

Hello, Parents! If you have a Smart Phone, this is for you. There is a School App that we would like all parents to download on their smart phones. We are already up and running for Delphic Elementary School. This is going to be a great way for the school and teachers to get all notices whether it’s a last minute basketball practice cancellation or a homework assignment due the next day. The name of the app is “Hallr.” Here are the steps to set this up.
The possibilities are endless.
